A Message From DREAM…
DREAM Partnership (DREAM) is committed to developing a variety of post-secondary options for students with intellectual disabilities in Pennsylvania. We continue to collaborate with our current university partners on building programs that meet the needs of students who wish to realize their dream, potential, and increased career opportunities by attending college.

Most importantly, we continue our outreach to students and their families to help them learn that many post-secondary education options are available, how to plan for transition, how to save for college, and how to access available programs.

DREAM is proud of our accomplishments over the years. We attribute our success to the continued support of UCP of Central PA, our Board of Directors and committee members, and donors. We are grateful to the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) for entrusting DREAM with the implementation of the ACES grant. We are proud of the collaborative effort from OVR, the Office of Developmental Programs, and the PA Department of Education for their swift policy changes to allow funds to be used for post-secondary education.

DREAM is excited for what the future holds. We will continue to search for additional university partners. DREAM will host our third annual Post-secondary Education Symposium on March 23-25, 2017. We are continuing last year’s tradition of offering workshops for college professionals, transition coordinators, support professionals, parents, and students!

Thank you again for all your support! DREAM. LEARN. LIVE. EARN.
